     This image emerged out of accident and experiment  while working on the conceptual layout for www.stefanieclark.com.  This Egyptian cat has been in my thoughts for quite some time but it was associated with a large piece of soap stone which remains un-carved sitting in our living room.  However, during the design stage of building Stefanie's site numerous ideas came and went and this was one of them.  Only this one wouldn't go until it was completed.

     It's the first time I have ever drawn something solely in the digital realm and it's kind of strange not to have something physical to show for my efforts.  That being what it is, it was gratifying to see it emerge on the screen one stroke at a time much like any other form of sketching or drawing.  This particular image was created through Adobe using a tablet and pen on a P.C.  Drawn by hand no filters or effects of any kind (with exception for sharpening filter in reducing web images) were used to enhance the image.

     This is the first image for the new C.G.I. or Computer Generated Images section of the site.  Further images will be added when time permits.
