"Last Glance" emerged out of my desire to concentrate and focus my attention
on simple beauty in its purest form. I consider myself most fortunate
that to find such beauty I don't have to look further than the boundaries of
my own home. Stefanie has been one of my favorite subjects ever since
we first met way back in 1990 and she continues to inspire.
What is "Last Glance" about? Short of a pure expression of beauty, the
title inflects the temporal nature of our physical existence on this planet.
With every glance we take, it is our last one of the ever changing present
moment. Besides that existential outlook, in time... we never know
when the last glance may come and we would do well to take the time to fully
appreciate the details which make up our human experience while we're here.
Bringing it back to the metaphysical, and to keep the Buddhists happy, the
subject of the piece is taking a last glance at nothing at all.

Scott solo album "Still Burning". If you have never heard of the
(Scottish, Irish...) band The Waterboys you should take a listen.
My favorite band, and as far as musical inspirations, these musicians
have provided the background sounds to most every artwork I have
produced and continue to do so.
